Path of Ceremorphosis Feat (Prerequisite: Tadpole Host Feat)
Your tadpole has a vested interest in protecting its shell while it incubates. You gain the following benefits.
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Constitution or Intelligence score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Psionic Energy Dice. The Psionic Energy Dice granted to you by this feat path become d8s.
Telepathy. You have Telepathy with a range of 10 feet. If you already have Telepathy, your range increases by 10 feet.
Warding Backlash. You always have the Shield spell prepared. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell. You can cast it without expending a spell slot by expending a Psionic Energy Die. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have. When you expend a Psionic Energy Die to cast the spell and cause the triggering attack to miss, roll the expended die. The attacker takes Psychic damage equal to the number rolled.
