As a Bonus Action while holding this ventriloquist’s doll, you can pull the cord on the doll’s back to cause the doll to levitate to an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet of yourself and hover there. While the doll hovers, you can take a Bonus Action to cause the doll to move up to 30 feet to another unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet of yourself. The doll hovers for 1 minute or until you end the effect as a Bonus Action.
While the doll is within 30 feet of you, you can speak using the doll’s mouth rather than your own. This allows you to, for instance, cast a spell with a Verbal component even if you can’t speak.
